Here is another of our typical circuit type workouts. One kettlebell and you can train your whole body. So after warming up with DROM movements, some swings, squats and presses we start the timer. We set the timer again for 30sec's on and 15 sec's off with 8 movements in the circuit. This circuit will last 6 minutes in total and the goal is to do 2 - 5 circuits for endurance. Or as usual we might do 2-3circuits after a strength workout. Always ensuring that the reps are good.
The order of movements are :
1. Left military press or push press
2. 2 handed hardstyle swing
3. right military press or push press
4. 2 handed hardstyle swing
5. left thruster
6. left snatch/high pull or swing
7. right thruster
8. right snatch/high pull or swing
If you are trying any of these circuits at home, ensure that you seek instruction from a qualified hardstyle FFI/KBI kettlebell instructor. Have a go and let me know how you got on?
Enjoy :)
