Myself and Fiona trained together today in the back garden. We spent the same time training, but did two different sessions. We both warmed up using D.R.O.M, body weight squats and some light kettlebell work. 5 x 10, 2 handed swings me with a 24kg, Fiona with a 16kg
A perfect day in Dublin on this October bank holiday Monday, to do the Dublin city marathon or an outdoor kettlebell workout :)
5 x 16kg Front Squats
10 x 12kg presses (5 left, 5 right)
15 x 16kg 2 handed swings
The above set was done straight through with a 30-60 second rest at the end. The above set was repeated for 10 rounds.
10 x 24 kg Snatch (5 left, 5 right)
2 x 12kg weighted static pistol with a hold at the bottom (1 left, 1 right)
5 rounds of the above, which matched Fiona's first 5 rounds.
6 x 32kg Snatch (3 left, 3 right)
2 x 12kg weighted static pistol with a hold at the bottom (1 left, 1 right)
5 rounds of the above, which matched Fiona's second 5 rounds.
Finished with 3 x 10 (5,5,) 16kg Windmills.
Shower and eat!
